Read and listen to the videos about the Australia's Great Barrier Reef. It is the world's largest coral reef and the richest natural ecosystem in the world. But the bio-diverse, fragile reef is under threat from human activity.
I learnt about the Great Barrier Reef.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that the great barrier reef is a very big place it covers 348000sq km and extends to 2300 km.The reef has lot's of different species like 1500 fish species, 4000 molluscs species and 1500 types of sponge.

ReplyDeleteI learnt that you need something heavy to float down to the bottom of the reef/ocean.
ReplyDeleteI also learnt that when you dive right under water you need a special thing called a weight belt which helps them go down you also should wear a pair a flippers which helps you swim easier one more thing that you will also need is a tank of air that helps you breathe air whilst you're under water.

ReplyDeleteI discovered that the great Barrier Reef extends 2300 km and covers to about 348,000sq km and, that it is actually 3000 smaller reefs joined together.

ReplyDeleteMy call is that I think that they need to stop the ships from going over the Great Barrier Reef because the ship from China came leaking oil and destroyed 3 kilo metres of reef so that is why I am against it.
